It’s Thanksgiving again. So what?

Change your life with one simple habit

This week, we’re celebrating Thanksgiving here in the US. And if you’ve been following me for a while now, you’ll know that I love Thanksgiving, and I love reminding people how being thankful can transform your life.

How? Simple. To start, the research proves that being thankful makes you happier.

Even Harvard Medical School agrees!

Here are some simple steps you can try that will help you be more thankful everyday:

1. Keep a gratitude journal. This is the most proven way to improve your outlook on life. Here is the best TED Talk of all time that proves this point:

2. Write thank you notes. Spread the love and let someone you know that you’re thankful for what they did, or for just being present in your life. Why don’t you send out 30 short “Thank you” notes on Thanksgiving? I’m planning to surprise some people with very short videos that I record that day.

3. Express your gratitude to someone. Not ready for a whole gratitude journal? You can start by simply thinking of someone who did something you appreciated, and telling someone about it. Eventually, you’ll build up this habit and may eventually transition to writing notes or telling that person face to face how much you appreciate them.

Don’t underestimate the power of these simple things. Remember, there are many scientifically-proven benefits of being thankful, and I want you to reap all of those. Not sure where to start, or is something still hindering you? Hit me up at rob@leadertribe.com and I’ll help you out.

It’s true: I am thankful for you!
